Good Day to you Lovelies! I come bearing a delish treat......of info (teehee). I have found a new subscription in which I have fallen head over heels with.
I was browsing around on Etsy one day when I decided, for kicks, to type in the word 'Subscription'. I got back a ton of results about Etsy shops that send you a handmade good every month. They had lots of things like handmade card of the month, bracelet of the month, and so on. They also had things I couldn't imagine like baby octopus of the month. Now, now. These aren't real octopi. They are handknitted stuffed octopus toys they send a different one each month. Different strokes for different folks, right? So anyways, as I was reading through the results, the name of one shop caught my attention. You guessed it: Sugared Beauty. This particular listing was something about a subscription to the Happy Face Scrub. I was intrigued, I clicked on it. And the rest is history! You can check it out here or at the Etsy shop here
Sarah from Sugared Beauty handmakes scrubs, balms, bath treats and all sorts of goodies using organic, natural ingredients. And the best part: put in an order and its made fresh just for you! I loves my sugar so how could I resist sugar beauty products? I contacted Sarah through Etsy and expressed my interest and also my hesitation to jump into a subscription. I asked if it was possible to buy some samples before buying a full sized product. Sarah was already a step ahead. In her Etsy shop, she has a listing to buy 3 samples of your choice of almost any of the products in the shop. It was only $5 shipped. I knew I had to try the Happy Face Scrub. I also had to try the Handmade Sugar Scrub in Chocolate Cake and Sugared Lemonade. Yum!
My Samples arrived in such cute little containers. Do not be fooled by the sizes. The Happy face Scrub lasted me over a week! After trying the samples, I was hooked. I signed up for a subscription to the Happy Face Scrub and the Sugar Scrub.
They are sent out at the beginning of the month and since I'm in Canada, they take about a week to get to me. No biggie, they are worth the wait!
I love this scrub! It foams up quite nicely, exfoliates and moisturizes. It has a really fresh smell and doesn't feel like I'm lobbing globs of toxins on, and Its made fresh to order! I use this about every other day and my skin has just been great on it! For my American Lovelies, I believe this scrub was recently featured in the Goodebox.
This is the chocolate cake Sugar Scrub. I have to stop myself from eating them! They are also other cflavours such as Sugared Lemonade, which I think I will get for the summer months. Just like Happy Face, my skin thoroughly enjoyed this treat!
Please check out Sugared Beauty (links above) and try some goodies out! :)

Luxe Calendar Days 22, 23, and 24 and BB5 does Christmas right!
Luxe Calendar Days 22, 23 and 24
The last 3 days of my Luxe Calendar!
Day 22: shu uemrua skin purifier
Day 23: YSL Shocking Mascara
Day 24: Lancome Lipstick. I couldn't really read the tiny label. But I believe it is full sized. Here's a better look:
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!
Beauty Box 5 December 2012: Done Right!
I was very pleased with my BB5 this month. This month being December, I thought sub services would be taking a moment to thank their members in some special way. But I was met with a lot of disappointment. And then this arrived:
This month's product card was taken a step further and turned into a very beautiful, thoughtful holiday card. I actually warmed up reading it! And now the contents!:
Let's do top left to right:
1) MaskerAide Hydrating facial sheet mask in Weather Warrior: one full sheet. I've gotten a few of these in other boxes and I love them. This is definitely a welcomed sight.
2) Jean Pierre Cosmetic Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pads: This looks handy for your purse. They also can remove makeup too.
3) Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush: I'm not too huge a fan of EM but I do appreciate this brush :)
Bottom Left to right:
4) Demeter Roll On Prefume Oil in Cherry Blossom
5) Ofra Cosmetics 3D eye shadow: I've never tried 3-d shadow before. I guess there are 3 different coloured pearls that give the 3-D effect. Hello NYE look :)
Bravo BB5! I definitely feel appreciated as a customer and I am more than happy with this month's box. Keep up the good work! What did you think of your BB5? Thinking about subbing in the New Year?

Luxe Calendar Days 18, 19, 20, and 21 plus Dec 2012 Glymm Bag
Christmas is almost here Lovelies! And yes the world did not end today just because some ancient calendar stops. I'll let you in on a little secret. I actually do know when the world will end and have the science to back it up. Can you guess when it is? Once the sun stops producing light, everything will go dark and no more photosynthesis can occur which means no more food. :( The sun is like any star, it has a life cycle and will burn out. That is truly the end. But that is quite a ways a way in the future, say a few million years or so....... I guess what I'm trying to get across here is don't pay any attention to Doomsday Prophecies for now I have told you the real deal. :)
Day 18: Lancome's Tresor: I have always liked the bottle of this perfume. It has been around for awhile as I remember it being on my mother's dresser when I was young.
Day 19: YSL's Forever Youth Liberator Eye Cream
Day 20: Armani/Prive Eau de Jade sample
Day 21: YSL's Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick sample
Here's a better look at the lipstick:

Glymm Bag 2012
This month's Glymm Bag arrived with no notice but I understand. Its the holidays. The package was quite light so I had my doubts.
This month's bag was a gold snakeskin. It actually looks really festive. The contents are not bad either! Starting from the left going right:
1) LashEm False Lashes, full size
2) LashEm Eyelash & Brow Enhancing Serum: Its supposed to give you longer lashes
3) Glamorous Cosmetics Lip/eye pencil: I'm intrigued by this double use product. It comes with its own sharpener too.
4) Suncoat Nail Polish? It wasn't really labelled that well so this is my guess. The product card was very little help as I guess they featured 3 different products from Suncoat this month.
Everyone also got a Glymm giftcard. I got one worth $10.
So not a terrible bag but definitely a little more exciting out of the ones I've gotten this month.

Presents on the Porch! : December 2012 LuxeBox, TopBox, and Ipsy Bag
With subs, Christmas always comes early. It was such fun to see some presents on my porch. Let's dive in!
Winter Luxebox 2012
This was actually a complete surprise when I sat it sitting on my porch. I hadn't received a confirmation email with tracking info so I had no idea it was arriving. I was pretty excited! LuxeBox is a quarterly subscription so they only send boxes out every 3 months or every season. I really enjoyed my Fall LuxeBox. Here's my Winter one: It was all wrapped up in a big satin drawstring bag. I know I'm definitely gonna use this again :)
Sorry for the poor quality picture. To be honest I really wasn't motivated to take a more glamourous one, because I was underwhelmed with this box. Let's go from left to right:
1)Eyeko Mini Skinny Brush Mascara : I really liked the eyeliner from the Fall box. I will try this out but I feel like I've been swarmed by mascaras lately!
2) Kerastase Cristalliste Lumiere Liquide: Its a lot smaller then I expeted bu I have heard quite a few good things about this.
3) Essie Nail Lacquer in She's Pampered: A nice red for the winter season. Also full sized so not complaining!
4)B Kamins Laboratories Day Lotion SPF 15: I like that this is a Canadian company. And moisturizer is always a good thing in the winter months.
5)Donna Karen Woman: Not a huge perfume fan.
6) Dermalogica Precleanse: I guess judging by the name you use it before you cleanse.
7)Schwarzkopf Professional Dust It: This is a powder you use for styling your hair. It kinda gives texture to your hair.
And this month's bonus item is a Kabuki brush withe the Loose Button Logo
So overall, underwhelming as it seems. The sizes seem a lot smaller this season. I've also had a chance to see other boxes. I was not lucky enough to receive Lancome's Hypnose Star mascara.:(
TopBox December 2012
A little mishap befelled my Topbox. This month, for some reason, instead of leaving it on my porch or in my mailbox, I got a notice to pick it up at the Post Office. I had to wait a whole day to pick it up. And I have to say, not really impressed.
Left to right:
1) Kellet Skin Care Treatment: I'm not too sure what to make of these samples.
2) and 3) Goldwell Hot Form Spray and Sleek Perfection Hair serums: These are supposed to be salon exclusive.
4) Ferro Cosmetics Mineral Makeup in Med-Beige: I actually like these Ferro samples. A little goes a long way. I really like their blush.
The end.
Seriously anticlimactic, eh? That was it. No Holiday Card or fun holiday item. The only thing that was remotely seasonal was the packing paper and package: they are red. So this is my 3rd Topbox and it was a letdown. I figured for December there would be a little something special in the box. Hmmmmmm..........
Wow! A beautiful little make up bag too! And they even had a little holiday greeting for us! That there on the left is Mai Couture Highlighter Papier. This definitely blows Glymm's 2 sheet samples out of the water. I'm not too sure, but I daresay its full sized! On the right, going from top to bottom:
1) Mirabella Prime for Faced and Eyes: I have been getting into primers for the face lately so this will definitely be used.
2) Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Zero: travel size but a welcomed item!
3) NYX Loose Pearl Eyeshadow in Walnut
4) be a .....Bombshell Hot Mess Lip Gloss: A red gloss! :D
Over the moon with this bag. Definitely some great holiday looks to be created the next few weeks.
Canadian subs, your competition has just started heating up! Step it up! Or you'll end up like me and GlossyBox: broken up. Yes, we are done for now. Details on that soon.

Ipsy Bag Dec. 2012
This is my second month with them and I can't wait for what's next. Mostly a make-up sub from the US, you get for $15 a month deluxe and often times full sized beauty and cosmetic products. Let's take a look:Wow! A beautiful little make up bag too! And they even had a little holiday greeting for us! That there on the left is Mai Couture Highlighter Papier. Luxe Calendar Days 14, 15, 16, 17, and the Starlooks StarBox Dec 2012
Look at what the weekend brought me Lovelies! From left to right
Day 14: A sample of Opium perfume from Yves Saint Laurent
Day 15: Lancome's Hypnose Mascara. I actually got a chance to use this yesterday. I did notice an increase in volume of my lashes.
Day16: A sample of Giorgio Armani Perfume. It was a really cool bottle but the whole thing was black so I really have no idea what the name is.
Day 17: Forever Youth Activator from YSL
There seem to be a lot of these in the calendar. I'm not really looking to turn back the hands of time just yet.....

StarBox December 2012
Since I think about October, Starlooks was promoting subscriptions for the December box since they would be sending out an eyeshadow palette that retails for $99 on their website. I had started subscribing in August so I was definitely gonna stay on for this one.
I actually really like this palette. Inspired by the colours of the Christmas tree. The palette contains both shimmers and more matte colours. They are really good for blending and playing around with :)
Also wanted to do a mini review for Eyes to Kill, since some of my Lovelies requested. And I can't say no! :) The product is from the Luxe Calendar, Eyes to Kill mascara by Giorgio Armani. Man they weren't kidding! My lashes are already fairly long so I don't really notice lengthening mascaras. I do notice volume however. I was actually really surprised because this is one of the few I actually noticed a difference. If you ever get ahold of this sample or mascara, give it a whirl! :)

Luxe Calendar Days 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13!
So what did the days have in store for me?
Left to right:
Day 9: A sample of Giorgio Armani Regenessence multi-corrective rejuvenating cream. This looked very similar to the youth generator I got earlier. I almost thought I had gotten 2 of the same samples!
Day 10: Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate.
Day 11: Giorgio Armani fluid master primer. Yes! I love trying primers!
Day 12: Lancome's Bi-Facial Double Action Eye makeup remover
A few of these samples I will be gifting, my mom is a Lancome fan so I might slip some of these in her gift ;)

I am loving this Calendar so far!
And a quick update!
Remember Day 1?
I love this liner! It went on so smooth and seemlessly! Great pigmentation, even coverage. No tugging, no redrawing! Just smooth lines! I am a convert :)

Day 3 and 4 of the Luxe Calendar
Hello Lovelies, time to open doors 3 and 4!
Regenessence youth generator cream from Giorgio Armani. Looks like a small sample but a dab will do ya!
Shu Emura Lipgloss in +H337. There wasn't a name on it, and that could the lot number, haha! But it looks like its got some gold shimmer in kind of a mauve colour.
20 More days Til Christmas! :D

Nom Noms This Way: Bestowed and Kona Kase Nov. 2012
Happy Tuesday, Lovelies! I'm writing this just before dinner so it smells so scrumptious around me! I won't make this too long winded. I wanted to share with you my November Bestowed box and a new sub called Kona Kase that has just started shipping to Canada. Get your forks ready!
Bestowed: November 2012
Whoops! Curious little Mick had to sniff everything in the box before I could handle it..............we get the ok!
Top left to right:
1) Tessemae's Red Wine Vinaigrette: This is actually an oil free dressing that answers the question: can a salad dressing be good without all the fat? Yes! This was so delicious. I love red wine vinegar on my salads already. This had seasonings in it too which makes it extra flavourful. I definitely will be looking for a refill when this runs out!
2) Pacific Organic Pumpkin Puree: so many possibilities! Pumpkin soups, pumpkin cheesecake......:)
3) Hail Merry Macaroons: I am already loving this company and this is my first pack of macaroons from them.
Bottom Left to right:
1) EBoost: This is an energy drink mix you add to your water. I don't usually drink these but this one seems to be loaded with vitamins too.
2) Seasnax Sea Sprinkles Grab & Go: now at first glance I wasn't too crazy about the idea. Its seaweed that has been dried out and tossed in olive oil, agave syrup, sea salt, sesame seed and oil. I gave it a try. They were actually quite satisfying. I didn't expect that. I kept chomping and reading that you could put them on salads and I stopped. I need to try these on a salad. Stp eating now! There are a few shreds left so I think I will sprinkles them on my salad tonight :)
Also included were a Chobani Coupon and a Qdoba free entree coupon. Check them out as I highly recommend them. Plus its only a cool $15/ Month. Visit Bestowed here.
Kona Kase Nov. 2012
Kona Kase is a relatively new subscription in which for $15/month, they send you 6-8 nutrition/endurance samples. Now, I'm not a gym rat. But when you sign up, you fill out a little fitness quiz in which they try to put samples in your kase that will cater to you. Check them out here. My first kase arrived a few weeks ago. And I have to say, I was really impressed.
Top Left to right
1) Bonk Breaker- Peanut Butter and Jelly: My husband loves protein bars and he can be picky about them. Especially the carbs to protein ratio. I let him have this bar and he loved it!
2) Sports Beans- Fruit Punch: Who knew energy supplements could be so fun?! When you look at it, it is jelly beans. But jelly beans do not have Vitamins and electrolytes like these little guys.
3) Hydrive Energy Drink Stick
Bottom Left to right:
1) Muscle Milk Light Bar in Vanilla Toffee Crunch: I have actually heard of this brand and this is one of my husband's faves. It disappeared, hmm.....
2) Perfect Foods Bar: I had some doubts about this (as I do with all protein bars and anything claiming to be perfect). I had to keep it in the fridge before I was ready to eat it. And I think I was blown away. It was a blend of peanut butter and honey. I was amazed as I was chomping away reading the nutrition info, that it contained 18 grams of protein!
Clockwise starting top left
1) Cytomax Sports performance Drink
2) Ultima Drink Stick in Grape: not my favourite flavour but alright.
3) Honey Stinger Gel in Acai & Pomegranate: a shot of honey?! Sign me up :)
4) PowerBar Chews in Raspberry: If fitness nuts had to eat one gummy fruit snack they should probably choose this. They are gel filled chews that provide an extra burst of energy before your work out. I had a few before I went to the gym. It was ok.
All this Nom nom talk has made me hungry. Time for dinner!
What do you think, Lovelies? Bestowed or Kona Kase for you?

3)Eucalyptus & Spearmint Bath Bomb in a Jar
4) Apple Cinnamon Lotion Bar: I have a new found love for lotion bars. They are great when you're in a bit of a hurry and you waste less lotion.
5)McIntosh Apple Soy Wax Melt
And the cutest things in the box...............
How adorably yummy do these look?! They are Cranapple and Vanilla Noel Soap Cupcakes. These make a perfect little add-on to a gift or stocking stuffer or party favor. I reallly want to keep these for myself, but 'tis the season. Should I? Gahhhhh! ;)
If you haven't already, check out the Bubble Babez store, and I dare you to not try and grab these yummy treats through your computer screen! hehe
Thank you for stopping by Lovelies. I have some new posts planned for you, including my second Nom Noms post and a new series entitled: GlossyBox on Trial. In these posts I will unbox GlossyBox and see if it was worth the 40% price increase. The Prosecution and Defense will argue both sides and I will be asking the Lovelies to weigh in too! Recess till then!

Luxe Calendar Day 1 and 2 and a (closed)Holiday Giveaway! :)
So behind already! Hello Lovelies, the busy holidays have started for me and I will do my best to share the days from the Luxe Advent Calendar from Loosebutton.
Day 1
An Yves Saint Laurent Waterptoof eye pencil in Black. I'm pretty excited about this as I've never actually owned a piece of Yves Saint Laurent makeup. So I'm excited to give it a try :)
Day 2
A cute little sample bottle of Acqua de Gioia by Giorgio Armani. I'm not a huge perfume person so this will make someone a cute gift.
A Verry Merry Holiday Giveaway from Onyx & Mick!
Each cat has chosen a giveaway package for you to win! So that means 2 winners! Let's take a look at the goodies!
Left to right:
Quiet, shy Mick isn't a huge fan of makeup but he likes his neutrals and soft natural colours. CakeBeauty's Winter Wonderland Lipgloss in Gingerbread was a perfect choice. But don't be fooled when he looks at the front of that palette, he sees himself in tokidoki's Lion Pappa palette. A brave, mighty, little lion, he is!
Onyx is the complete opposite. Aside from the fact that she was the only black cat in her litter, she was the runt too! But that has not stopped this kitty from overflowing with feisty personality! She is definitely the cat that says what needs to be said (or meows what needs to be meowed) Its no wonder she chose the Vegas tokidoki palette, she knows she's good luck! And to finish it off, a Cake Beauty Winter Wonderland Lipgloss in Snow Woman. What a cat!
Here's a better look at the colours. Such smart kitties!
So two lovelies will be chosen on December 31st and will kick off the new year in paw-chosen style!
Just a few simple Rules:
1) International Giveaway! My kitties do not discriminate!
2) Please make sure you fulfill each requirement as asked otherwise the entry will be disqualified.
3) Have fun and don't unfollow after the giveaway. Aside from being mean, you'll miss my other giveaways!

Nom Noms This Way: A new blog feature
Hello Lovelies!
How's your week going? Did you enter the BeautyGram Giveaway? It ends this Friday, Nov 30th!
I wanted to introduce a new blog series to showcase and do unboxings of another kind: food subs! I knew it wouldn't be long before I started receiving these. I had already subscribed to Bestowed, in which send you a box of 5 new healthy food items for $15 a month. I am loving that subscription so far. I have been trying to eat healthy and much more natural lately. I don't live near any Whole Foods stores and I can't find my way around the organic section of the supermarket. So I have turned to some subscription services instead. I want to share my findings with you and, of course, new boxes available for Canadians! Let's kick it off.............

Healthy Surprise
Healthy Surprise is a very appropriate name. You don't actually know what you are going to get. But it'll be good for you. They only include snacks that are vegan, natural, gluten free, soy free. They have 3 different subscription options but only two are available to Canadians: The Healthy Surprise for $66 + $5 in shipping per month which I get, and the Starter Surprise for $33+ shipping. I know it seems steep but I will show you why I thought it was worth it. The Healthy Surprise promises 32-40 servings, enough for 2-6 people. Also the snacks are FULL Size. No little packets, no one time samples. The servings sizes are meant to be snacks, so there isn't going to be a whole meal in here. Unless, you eat the whole box? And they guarantee their service and the snacks. Customer service has been easy to deal with and they have very friendly and prompt service. :) Now let's open the surprise! I also want to add that this is a hefty box.
Bam! A Healthy Surprise!
Left to right:
1) Fearless Organic SuperChocolate in Midnight: 74% Cacao, 100% totally loved by me. They also source their chocolate directly from family owned farms in Bahia, Brazil.
2)Sacred Chocolate: 58% Cacao

Left to right:
1 and 2) Petter Rabbit Organics 100% pure fruit snack: came in this squeeze bottle. It looks kinda awkward when you're eating it out of the tube (the looks I got at work) I would recommend this with cereal.
3) O.N.E. Coconut Water
Whew, what a box! So this is my first box of Nom Noms. What do you think? Love surprises enough to try a Healthy Surprise? :)
